The Helica Thermal Coagulator (TC) overcomes the problems associated with electrosurgical devices in laparoscopic surgery. When compared to other treatments (like Diathermy and Laser), the Helica TC treatment is highly accurate and safe to use on all affected areas, including vital organs such as the bowel and the bladder. These areas are not normally treatable with other instruments.
